ITINERARY

Day 1 

The trip begins in the morning (around 9am) after our driver meets you at your accommodation. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we reach Thebes with its new museum or rare collections. Then we make a short stop at Cheronea famous battlefield before we arrive at the town of Livadia to visit the beautiful springs of Krya where we suggest we make our lunch stop. We continue to reach the byzantine monastery of Osios Loukas where you will spend about 1 hour before you make your way to Delphi. The rest of the day is flexible.

Day 2 

After breakfast and before the crowds arrive, we begin our visit with the Castalia Spring and the main site (Temple of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre and the Stadium) and afterwards the Museum with its rich collections. You will have plenty of time to visit both.

It is now time to have a lunch break at a local greek authentic restaurant before you make a short visit to the Temple of Athena Pronea and the Tholos. As we leave Delphi behind we will make a stop at the picturesque town or Arachova (very famous winter destination) to grab a coffee and walk in the town. It is time to get back to Athens arriving around 5pm.

TERMS OF SERVICE

For your safety inside the vehicle, drivers provide commentary only when it is deemed safe to do so while driving. When your driver must concentrate during difficult driving conditions, please refrain from any distracting behaviour as your safety during the tour is our top priority. Your Driver will drop you off as close to the sites as legally possible and in accordance to the Municipality and Traffic laws of Athens. Our service is solely confirmed when the potential customer has received and email confirming services along with the details of the tour. If the confirmation email is not received than please conclude that the service has not been confirmed. We suggest you contact us immediately for further clarification.

  • Entrance fees into the archaeological areas of Delphi and its Museum are 12 Euro total pp (combined ticket)
  • Entrance fees into the Osios Loukas Monastery are 3 Euro pp.
  • Entrance fees to the archeological museum of Thebes is 6 Euro pp.

Free admission for all on the following dates for Delphi:

  • 6 March

  • 18 May
  • The last weekend of September annually (European Heritage Days)
  • 28 October
  • Every 1st Sunday of the month from November till March
