3 Days Delphi and Meteora

This journey is an extension of the 2 days tour to Delphi and Meteora providing a more leisurely trip with one overnight stay in Delphi and one in Kalambaka.Recommended for people who want to avoid long driving hours in a short period of time.

Day 1: Leave Athens early in the morning (approx. 08:20) to Delphi via the National highway, passing by the towns of Thebes - Levadia (quick Stop) and Arachova. Visit to the Museum of Delphi with its Spectacular finds including the World famous Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos, then to the Ancient Sanctuary of the Greek God Apollo. Afternoon is free.

Overnight & Dinner in Delphi.

Day 2: Morning is free in Delphi. Departure to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of majestic grey rocks, and crowned by the Meteora Monasteries. Passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece.

Overnight & Dinner in Kalambaka town or Kastraki village (Meteora).

Day 3:Visit to Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between Earth and Heaven, rooted on huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopile (passing by the Leonidas monument).
