2 Days Tour to Argolis

This Journey is an extension of the full day tour to Argolis providing a more leisurely trip with an overnight stay in Nafplion. In this tour you will also visit the Venetian Fortress of Palamidi crowning the city of Nafplion or alternatively go swimming.Finally a a wonderful walk to the old city with its neoclassic houses and picturesque streets is a must.

Day 1: Leave Athens early in the morning to the Corinth Canal via the coastal highway.After a quick stop at the Corinth Canal for pictures then on to Ancient Corinth. We then proceed to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient Epidaurus Theatre. Proceed to the pretty town of Nafplio (lunch and overnight), where you have the afternoon free for a visit to the Venetian fortress of Palamidi. Alternatively, you can use the free time to wonder around the old streets of Nafplion or even go swimming.

Overnight stay in Nafplio.

Day 2: Morning free, for shopping and for a walk to the old city of Nafplio with its neoclassic houses and picturesque streets. Around noon leave for Mycenae - visit the Lion Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. In the afternoon departure to Athens. Arriving early in the evening.
